AIT has taken delivery of a new Fanuc 130 all electric moulding cell to add to our existing Injection moulding suite. The new cell and ancillaries were all supplied and fitted by JLGoor ltd.
New Equipment Added to APT Facility

APT has taken delivery of a state of the art Guill Medical Tubing die which combined with the Boston Matthews Medical Device Extruder housed at APT now allows the APT team to replicate the manufacture of complex medical tubing such as catheters.
APT has recently invested in a small scale benchtop thermoforming unit to complement the Cannon Shelly production unit currently in use at APT. The Formtech device will allow APT to thermoform polymer sheet manufactured using existing APT equipment and will allow for increased research capacity in the plastic packaging arena.

Dr Michael Nugent is leading the MRI research into Electrospinning of materials for medical device applications. Dr Nugent has recently installed the cutting Edge research grade Electrospinning unit into the APT facility.
